This image enhancement video shows how the Quick Edit Mode in Sagelight can be used very quickly and effectively.

This video points out better than most how you can go back and forth between controls in the Quick Edit Mode.  Rather than doing one step after another, this video shows me adjusting colors and brightness levels and going back and forth between them.

The annotations may seem busy in this video, but that's because I am just playing around with controls to make minor adjustments as they occur to me. This allows me to be non-intentional about my image and to just have fun with it.

The edit takes just a few seconds, and most of the time (as you can see in the video) is just me moving controls about until I get something I like visually.

In this photo session, I am turning the image into a stark and moody duotone, as opposed to enhancing the picture.

I first convert it to a black-and-white picture with the "Polarizer" (to bring out the bridge towers -- otherwise, they become too dark for the picture), and then I do various functions to bring the tone down, such as using the Vignette -- note in the video that I use the Quick Edit "Fill Light Control" to keep the shadows up.

This is another '1 minute video', where I show what can be done in Sagelight in under 60 seconds. The concept is that if this can be done in a minute, spending 10 minutes can really enhance your picture to a much higher degree with not too much effort.

This video shows how you can use Sagelight to correct problems with images such as unwanted items in a picture and bent horizons.

In this video, I rotate the image and use the Clone Brush to remove some water on the lens obscuring the picture. Then I perform an Auto Color from the Quick Edit Mode.

This video shows more dramatic usage of the Undo Brush and actually shows a number of in-progress images that make great pictures on their own.

This tutorial shows the power of the undo brush when you understand it and can use it as an integral editing item in your "back pocket", because you don't have to think about what you're going to do -- you can just expirement and get inspired, and then use the Undo Brush to take what worked and leave behind what didn't.

This tutorial also shows how to do multiple functions and then go back to the starting image (in the history buffer) and use the Undo Brush on the image quite a few steps back in your editing.

As mentioned, I think it makes more sense to watch this one first, then watch steps 1 and 2.  Then watching this one again will show how the Undo Brush is at once simple and very powerful.

In this tutorial, I discuss the Vignette Effect menu, where you can add a vignette of different sizes and shapes, transparency values, softness, etc.

You can also change the vignette to white for a soft look, and add contrast to make the vignette blend in so that it doesn't have the 'vignette look'.

This video shows how to use the Vibrance (Sagelight Vibrance) and Definition (also known as Clarity) controls in Sagelight Image Editor. New to version 4.0 is the Power Box.  Inside the Power Box are powerful controls.

The Vibrance controls can give amazing, deep color to your image, while the definition controls can really bring out the definition and clarity.  Together they are a powerful combination.

This tutorial shows you how to use these controls along with the other controls in Sagelight that can make them even better.

This tutorial discusses how user-defined (i.e. manually-drawn) curves can be used in Sagelight Image Editor, either alone or as an additive to the tone controls in the Quick Edit and Pro Quick Edit Modes.

Also discussed is how the Sagelight Image Editor Curves Box has many features to help utilize the changing role of curves.  This video shows how curves are less useful for toning over the tools developed for Sagelight, but also how they can be used as a great additive.

The differences are explored, and many examples of the usefulness of the manual curves drawn through the Curve Box can be a powerful element in Sagelight, especially with the new elements added for using curves in Sagelight.
