A personal note from the author:

I've always wanted to give Sagelight Editor away for free, but was unable to do so because of the large amount of time an expense involved in developing and maintaining Sagelight. Now is the perfect time -- this version is a few years old now, but still very powerful, and the next version is already 70% completed. The new (coming) version features a revamped UI that is much easier to use and more powerful, new noise reduction functions, as well as a number of other functions to more easily and quickly create beautiful images.

I am excited about the new UI in development -- Sagelight has always been a very powerful editor with many functions (HDR. Bokeh, Toning, etc.), but the UI has, at times, either been too simple or far too complicated. The new UI is working very well, and I can hardly wait to create a beta for people to try.

Your donation will fund new releases for the current version (such as updated RAW support for newer cameras, bug fixes, etc.), as well as the next version.

Sagelight is a very large body of work, comprising 1 million lines of C++ and multi-threading SSE code.

Current Version. The current version is the original release version, with some bug fixes and updates. Donations go to updating the current version and adding some functions.
Next Version 5.0. Version 5 is 70% complete, featuring a complete revamp of the UI, many new functions, and new a new-and-improved noise-reduction. Donations also go to finishing this version.
Get Version 5 free. If there are enough donations, I can give version 5 away for free. If you donate $10 or more, keep your information and you get Version 5 for free, even if it goes back to a regular purchase (for lesser amounts, also keep your information for a discount if I can't make version 5 free)
